Madison's phone conversation with Princess Belle..

Madison called Belle this morning on her princess phone.  The conversation went something like this....

"Hey Belle, what are you doing?  I'm just, like, watchin' Taylor.  Oh, you're dancing?  What are you, like, dancing like?  Like crazy, like pretty, or, um, like me?  Oh, pretty?  Where are you dancing... around the kingdom?  Oh, ok, love you, bye."

Milestone #1 for Baby Tay

Pulling the musical lion on the bouncy seat has always been a milestone in the Hoffert family.  The other day we heard the lion singing and Madison and I went running in to see our sweet little hanging on to the orange ring.  Way to go Tay!

Vocabulary...

This morning at the breakfast table Madison was explaining to the family how all the kids would be situated in the new house (at bedtime).  She is very excited that she will get to sleep on the top bunk of the bunk beds and tells us how all three of them could sleep.  Using her hands to show us where each person will be, she uses her four year old vocabulary to explain,

"T can sleep on the littlest, Taylor can sleep on the middle'est, and I can sleep on the last'erist".

Today we made the mistake of trying to take out a home loan with three kids along... oh my.  It actually went pretty well until we left and I saw that Eliott had drawn with crayon all over the nice padded chair that he had been sitting in.  I knew he did it but I wanted to hear him admit to it.  Matt asked him point blank, "Did you color on the chair, Eliott?"  After several asks, with no response, Matt says, "T, did you color on the chair with the orange crayon?"  Eliott yells back, "NO!  With the GREEN crayon!"
