I love you all the time... but there are just moments when I Really love you...
1) When you handle an overly-emotional daughter way better than I do
2) When I sit here and listen to you make up your hundredth pre-bedtime song called "The whale song", "The T song", "The turtle song", ect... while the kids squeal with laughter
3) When I hear the squeals of belly laughter coming from the kids room as you sing your made up song called 'Daddy'... This means the probability of anyone falling asleep soon is low, but so worth it.
4) When you sleep on the bottom bunk of a child's bunk bed for week after week and have yet to complain... sharing it usually with two others...

| Chief's shock collar broke several weeks ago and has now taken full advantage. Almost every day he escapes and is off. Today he came home several hours later holding a brand new bag of still-frozen tator tots. Sorry to the person who was probably unloading groceries... |

I have thought throughout this birthday celebration of mine the last couple of days how much my idea of a great birthday celebration has changed over the last five years.
