Heat it up!

After a late night call to the fire department Saturday night, we realized our furnace was out of commission and making our house smell like an electrical fire.  Being the coldest couple days of the year (maybe of my life :)), it was a bit interesting.  Since it was a weekend, waiting until Monday was going to save us a couple hundred bucks, so we cranked up the wood burner and hung out in front of it.  This morning we watched several cartoons, had a waffle picnic, and got out some toys :).  It is up and running now!  These times make us thankful for the little things we have and the wonderful people that love us (after many calls and an amazing wood drop-off)!
